In the new digital space, SA Power has researched and committed to affordable Edge computing as part of machine control system solution. Using an IPC-Edge device combines control and information technologies such as:

LENZE PLC & MOTION
Lenze c300/c500 series controllers offer basic PLC and FAST motion solutions on the Codesys programming platform.
The Lenze c750 series controller provides the same PLC and FAST motion on one operating system while a second operating system handles application or Information technology functions.
A solution using Lenze Viswin software for standard HMI and control platforms.
Latest solutions are based on web interface software to allow for various solutions on different devices such as iPad or smart phones. This combines seamlessly with Control Platform as well as the information platform running of the Edge device.
LENZE IO SYSTEM 1000
This modular slice type system provides space saving, flexible deployment or expansion of IO to meet your changing needs.
Modules connect directly to Lenze controllers or via a bus coupler such a EtherCAT, ProfiNET, DeviceNET or CANOpen.
Safety design is an integral part of our system design. The Lenze Inverters and Controllers come with various levels of on board safety.
Additionally, safety can be provided by Safety Bus systems such as ProfiSafe. At SA Power our system solutions do not use a SafetyBus due to the variations of applications and machine types, all of which would require a safety audit. Our solution is to deploy an additional dedicated safety controller from Pilz which then ensures safety system integrity.
